ABOUT LINGOCUL BLOG POSTS

📖 INTRODUCTION

LingoCul’s blog posts offer a deeper look at Iranian culture, Iran, and its people beyond the headlines. Whether you are looking to understand the country’s core social values or are ready to learn about Persian language and culture, explore our posts. New articles will be added regularly.

🌍 BEYOND THE HEADLINES

Iran and its people are often viewed from the outside through politics, conflict, and international headlines. Yet a country is far more than the events that bring it into the news. To understand Iran more fully, we need to look beyond the headlines and explore its culture, people, history, traditions, values, and everyday life.

📚 UNDERSTANDING IRAN AND ITS PEOPLE

Drawing on my lived experience, years of observation, and a lifelong interest in Iran’s history and culture, I explore the historical influences that have shaped Iranian society and contributed to the diversity of beliefs, values, perspectives, and ways of life among Iranian people. I also look at Iran’s cultural heritage, traditions, customs, language, and shared values that continue to connect many Iranians despite their differences.

🏛️ EXPLORING PERSIAN CULTURE AND TRADITIONS

Through topics ranging from Persian greetings and social customs to family life, traditions, history, and everyday interactions, these writings offer a closer look at both the diversity of Iranian society and the cultural threads that connect its people.

🤝 A BROADER HUMAN PERSPECTIVE

Looking beyond Iran also reveals a broader human truth: across countries and cultures, people may differ greatly in their beliefs, political views, and ways of life while still sharing a deep connection to their homeland, culture, traditions, and heritage. We cannot truly understand a country and its people without looking beyond the headlines to the history, culture, values, and everyday experiences that have shaped both the country and its society.

🧭 HOW OUR BLOG POSTS ARE ORGANIZED

Our blog posts are organized into two main categories. The first explores Persian culture. The second offers a deeper understanding of Iran, its history, society, and people. Some topics are presented as multi-part series, with each article building on the previous one. Within each category, posts are organized from oldest to newest, with newer posts added at the bottom. This allows readers to explore each category from the beginning and follow each series in order.
